Ministry Architecture

Newsletter design, identity exploration

A 501c3 non-profit organization, Ministry Architecture creates and delivers complete architectural plans for hospitals, schools, orphanages, and more to communities in 3rd-world countries; all completely free of charge. It came as a privilege to join with them in overhauling their online newsletters as well as pitch them a brand refresh as they enter a time of forward-thinking transition.

A key emphasis in my approach was using both the bold highlighter colors of the architectural plans themselves as well as a free-hand sketch motif to convey a youthfulness and urgency that previous designs from the organization had lacked.

The brand exploration came as a natural outgrowth of finding a new direction for their quarterly newsletter. As before, heavy emphasis was placed on infusing the brand with youthful vitality while striving to retain an air of mature experience.
