Since 2022, I’ve run @montereytype as a side project with a mission to romanticize my life by highlighting the signage and typography that make up the Monterey Peninsula area where I currently live. It’s been rewarding to engage with photography outside of a workplace setting, researching the rich history of this town I love, and sharing it with fellow sign-hunters and Monterey creatives.
